This is a very stylish place which is located inside a fairly large property. The place is built like an old royal haveli with sandstone used on the walls. The boundary wall of 650 looks like the wall of a fortress. There is a lot of greenery inside which can be viewed from the tall glass windows of 650. This place is off the busy streets of Ahmedabad in a quiet residential area. When you enter inside there is a winding trail made of wooden planks which takes you to the restaurant. The furniture is wooden and modern there is an open kitchen. The interior, in fact, is not in keeping with the ancient look that the exterior projects. The interior is dark which can seem gloomy. The service is okayish so it can definitely improve. The food is good mostly but you can also get some average tasting dishes so they need to maintain consistency. We tried the 'Hungarian Krokett' and the 'Shanghai Spring Rolls' which was nice. It was crispy and was dipped in a sauce. The presentation of this dish was dramatic with a bit of sauce in a small glass and the roll placed inside the glass. All this was placed in a wooden holder and brought to the table. This place is crowded on weekends, so book in advance.
