Curries has been operative for a dozen years here and it is still very popular with customers so it easy to say that this restaurant has good food. It is a non-vegetarian restaurant which serves good Indian food but it also serves pretty good quality of Chinese and other Asian cuisines. The décor here is, however, old and needs a revamp. It looks like a well frequented and slightly old American diner but without music. However, it is situated in a great location which is a definite plus point. Parking is also available but it is situated on the first floor with no lift so it is out of bounds for older customers. Now about the food – Most of their Indian dishes are good. Vegetarians should try their Zucchini wrapped Grilled Paneer, and do not miss their Lemon Grass and Burnt Garlic Soup in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian versions. The restaurant serves good biryanis and a good kabab platter, again both in vegetarian and non-vegetarian versions. Do order for Lasooni Fish Tikka if you like fish and their Butter Chicken is very tasty too. Try Karari Roomali as a starter. It is a large crisp and thin roti sprinkled with masala and herbs. They have good sizzlers but it’s mostly known for its non-vegetarian Indian food.
