Located on the first floor, this small restaurant serves what else but what its name suggests, Khichdi. It has so many varieties of Khichdi that it will confuse you. The place is done up in rustic style with rough cut wooden chairs and tables, copper water container, bell metal or Kansa plates, bowls and glasses and terracotta lampshades. It has only 5 tables and can seat 16 persons at a time but the Khichdi is tasty though it is priced on the higher side. The restaurant has 34 different types of Khichdis on its menu from the simple 'Dal Khichdi' to 'Vegetable Masala Khichdi', 'Kashmiri Mong Khetchir' to rice and lentil preparations from across the borders of India. If you are looking for simple Khichdi try the 'Vaghareli Khichdi', which is Khichdi with tempering or try the 'Palak and Corn Khichdi', very healthy with lots of greens in it. There is also 'Achari Khichdi' and 'Saat Dhan Ki Khichdi'. Try the unusual 'Bina Chaawal Ki Khichdi'. You can have 'Karnataka Style Huggi', 'Bikaneri Gehu Khichdi' and 'Andhra Style Hyderabadi Khichdi'. These are served with pickle, papad and curds. The portion is for one person but two portions should stretch for 3 persons if they are not big eaters. The menu also has some 'Paneer dishes', 'Kadhi Pakoda', 'Lacha Paranthe', 'Raita' and even '2 types of sweet dishes'.
