The Café Bonita has opened up on the first floor, right on top of the popular Shankar Ice-cream Library off Sindhu Bhawan Road. It is done up in trendy fashion in keeping with its target clientele of young people. Started by young chef Harish Bisht, who is the co-owner of The Café Bonita, Bisht has years of experience under his belt. The café has contemporary décor with exposed bricks wallpaper and dark coloured ceiling. The restaurant has an attic which forms another level where there are 2 tables for an alleviated seating experience. There is also a cosy corner on one side where 3 sofas and a centre table form an exclusive space which can be used by friends for a get-together. One can even draw the curtains to make it a secluded space which is great for celebrating small birthday parties and family occasions of around 10 people. This is a vegetarian café which has a lot of different beverages on the menu. Try the 'Pink Lady' which is peach, apricot, apple and orange juice. There is also 'Gabbie Punch' which contains strawberry, orange, pineapple juice along with ginger, lemon and mint. If you like to have a soup, try the 'Cream of Asparagus' or the 'French Onion Soup'. For starters or just evening snacks, try the 'Fried Basilio Cottage Cheese' or 'Vegetable Kibeh'. If you want something heavier, go for pizza, pasta, bagel, sandwiches, burgers and many rice based dishes like the 'Mexican Hot Pot'.
