Here is a gastro bar that takes up a good amount of space on St Mark’s Road. The dedicated lift to get here is a small novelty in itself. The space has a Mediterranean touch to it, with its blue and white décor. There is an al-fresco space, a non-air-conditioned and an air-conditioned space to choose from. I was truly happy when I found that they serve a good range of beers from Geist. That said they have a full-fledged bar and some great options to choose from. A Little Piece of Heaven has 'White Rum', 'Malibu', 'Peach' and 'Cranberry Syrup with some Orange and Pineapple Juice'. The 'Sweet Lady' is a Red Wine Cocktail, with citrus and berry juices mixed in and to add that fizz, some Sprite. There are good options with Vodka, Gin, Tequila and Whisky bases as well. If you are not too adventurous, all the classic drinks are available and a range of non-alcoholic drinks as well. Now coming to the food. The 'Peri Peri Fries' are great but can set your mouth on fire. We did order the 'Onion Rings' but they were too soggy for our liking. The 'Naked Peri Peri Wings' are a good bet. If Artichoke is available, do try the 'Marinated Olives with Artichoke Hearts'. Among the Asian starters, the 'Pandan Leaf Tofu' is good as is the 'Crispy Sesame Chicken'. The 'Spicy Akhuri Taco' is an interesting twist on a Parsi classic. The 'Classic Margherita Pizza' is a simple one to go with. You can go with a more loaded version, the 'Pesto and Artichoke' and 'Meat Lovers' are both good options.
