If you have a penchant for the slightly offbeat and subcultures, the Foxtrot is definitely the place for you. Walk past the al-fresco seating because only if you are lucky or smart enough to have made reservations will you be able to snag a seat here. Not to worry, the rest of this House of Subculture offers you some great seating options – whether you are a family or a bunch of loud youngsters. I was excited to see 'Jello Shots' on the menu and immediately asked for the pomegranate and green apple ones. Potent yes, but these were shots with flavoured jelly placed in them, so not really spot on. There are a range of cocktails to choose from and the ones that caught my eye for future reference are The 'Nitro Gibson G&T', the 'El Orgasmo' with 'Bourbon' and the 'What a Matcha', with 'Whiskey' and 'Matcha Tea'. There are some great food options and you will want to begin with the 'Katsu Chicken Bao'. It comes with Kimchi in the bao which you can request the chef to omit if you like. The sauce with it is a must-try. The 'Roasted Pork Belly Yakitori' is another great choice. The 6 slices of well marinated and cooked pork belly on wooden skewers with a BBQ dipping sauce you should not miss. The 'Wasabi Infused Smoked Chicken Salad' is a great in-between kind of dish and rest assured that the wasabi will not sucker punch you. The 'China Town Tenderloin' is also a great choice, especially, if you are pairing it with some bottled beers. If you want to go down familiar roads, then the 'All Meat Pizzas', which is served as rectangles and not triangles should be had. For desserts, the 'Blueberry Cheesecake' is a winner and the 'Caramel Sponge Cake with Vanilla Ice-cream' can cause fights at the table.
