If you look around the expanse of the vast Phoenix Market City Mall in Whitefield, you will see a small window-like gap in its tall walls. That is the Harry’s Bar + Café balcony, which allows you to sit and people watch, if that is what you would like doing over playing at their pool tables, shuffleboards, dartboards and the likes. A nice buzzing place to wind up at during early evenings – post a hectic shopping schedule – this sports pub offers drink combos and excellent pub food with some good jukebox music on the side. Try the meat nachos, crispy pork ribs, The Satay Club, buffalo chicken winglets and nasi biryani in food. In cocktails, the Singapore Sling or the Blood on the Rooftop are good picks from the list, while the apple and watermelon flavoured lemonade in mocktails comes recommended.
Had an unplanned visit to Harry's, with my wife. Food was awesome. Ordered 2 chicken dishes and both were absolutely delicious.
I have been to this place around 4 times and as I dont drink, this review is only based on the food I had. With a very few options to choose from, the quantity of food was good but tasted average. Very few options for vegetarians in each course. Felt price was a bit high for the quality of the food.
The place serves average food with some really good starters - nachos, quesadilla. The Thai Curry was one good main course we had here. The vibe of the place is great and the place also has a pool table which makes it more fun.
Went here one Saturday lunchtime. It was virtually empty so lacked the atmosphere I expect it has in the evening. It was unfortunate that the music was piped from Harry's Bar in Mumbai instead of being selected locally. It was club music which would have been good in the evening but not at lunchtime when there were only three of us and one other customer. That said, cocktails and food were excellent, especially the fresh rice paper spring rolls. I would definitely visit again, but probably in the evening.
Went there with a friend. The first thing you’ll surely notice is the lighting. It’s really dim and actually you are actually gonna like it. The seating, the music, everything is charming. Then there comes food, the hummus with pita were really good. I would have actually liked a better hummus but anyway, I can say that the drinks saved the day. I ordered a Kinetic iced tea, and I’m surely gonna order the same thing next time I go there. It was really amazing. The quantity of food was really good. Kudos to the helpful staff.
We have a long list of bars that we are totally loyal to. There are places for our every mood and whenever the mood hits us, we go find solace in that place. Bars doesn?t always have to be exciting, sometimes low key places works too in case you feel like nursing your beer and think hard. Then there are the fun lively places you go to when you badly need to decompress by partying hard. If you belong in the latter category then this one pub might put your mood to rights. ?Harry?s Bar + Caf‚? is our pet pub when we are in need of an invigorating musical time (read: live gigs). The pub always comes through for us and is our favourite drinking place in Bengaluru. It?s placed in Whitefield on the level 2 of Phoenix Market City.
Like any good bar, Harry?s Bar + Caf‚ keeps a wonderful bar stock but what actually sets it apart is their delicious knock-you-out cocktails. Even if you are a scotch drinking guy, give their cocktails a shot. They have steal-worthy deals on drinks going on now and then, keep your eye open for that. Accompanying your booze menu is Harry?s scrumptious grub selection. Pick your nibbles from their eclectic spread which is dominated by finger foods. Portofino shrimps, chilli cheese egg sliders, buffalo wings, smoking hot sausages, adraki soy chilli kebab, Harry?s bruschetta, Thai curry rice bowls, Vietnamese rice paper spring rolls, Andhra chicken pepper fry and house smoked cottage cheese quesadilla, are all there. Top up the drinks and move onto the mains next with, flatbread pizza, burgers, open faced sandwiches, steak, curries, pasta, oriental gravies and grilled seafood.
Their dessert section will leave you drooling. Like everything else on the menu, Harry?s desserts are best when shared. Try, drunken volcano cake, Harry?s blackforest sundae, ice creams and Harry?s chocolate fondue. Yum! The Whitefield outlet of Harry?s Bar + Caf‚ has a great vibe. Exposed brick walls, dark leather furniture, minimal d‚cor and a pool table at one end, gives off a masculine appeal. Premises are pretty spacious so the room looks airy all the time. Sit in their outdoor section if there is a breeze flowing. A moderately priced pub.
