If you look around the expanse of the vast Phoenix Market City Mall in Whitefield, you will see a small window-like gap in its tall walls. That is the Harry’s Bar + Café balcony, which allows you to sit and people watch, if that is what you would like doing over playing at their pool tables, shuffleboards, dartboards and the likes. A nice buzzing place to wind up at during early evenings – post a hectic shopping schedule – this sports pub offers drink combos and excellent pub food with some good jukebox music on the side. Try the meat nachos, crispy pork ribs, The Satay Club, buffalo chicken winglets and nasi biryani in food. In cocktails, the Singapore Sling or the Blood on the Rooftop are good picks from the list, while the apple and watermelon flavoured lemonade in mocktails comes recommended.

We have a long list of bars that we are totally loyal to. There are places for our every mood and whenever the mood hits us, we go find solace in that place. Bars doesn?t always have to be exciting, sometimes low key places works too in case you feel like nursing your beer and think hard. Then there are the fun lively places you go to when you badly need to decompress by partying hard. If you belong in the latter category then this one pub might put your mood to rights. ?Harry?s Bar + Caf‚? is our pet pub when we are in need of an invigorating musical time (read: live gigs). The pub always comes through for us and is our favourite drinking place in Bengaluru. It?s placed in Whitefield on the level 2 of Phoenix Market City.
