All across the Jayanagar area, you will find small joints that end up becoming family favourites. House of Kebabs, not a fancy joint in terms of looks, opened its doors a while ago letting the world know that they cook their biryanis on a wood fire. Since then, their biryanis have become a family favourite. I am one for Salan and Raita, but here is a flavourful mutton biryani that honestly does not need anything with it. So a biryani has to be on the cards. The 'Mutton Seekh' and the 'Chicken 65' make for great starters. But if you are really looking for something that will stand out, then the 'Lahori Murgh' is what you should be ordering. Large chunks of chicken in a curd based marinade and done in the tandoor. The mayonnaise that accompanies it completes the dish perfectly. The 'Turkish Chicken' too, is quite a treat. Keep in mind that these are large portions and can fill you up rather quickly. The 'Mumtaz Kebab' and the 'Kheema Biryani' are good choices as well here.
