This second outlet of Hunan works on the same principles of interior design as its flagship outlet. Done up in red and white, without screaming Oriental it is a lovely place to dine in Koramangala. Start your meal with a Sweet Corn Chicken soup if you want to play it safe and do make sure to split it. Their portions are large. Their Manchow soup is a meal in itself and really hits the spot. The Fried Wontons in vegetarian, meat and seafood options make for great munchies, till you decide what you want to eat from the extensive main course. Do make sure to try their Red Dumplings which can be quite a fiery treat. They make a mean crackling spinach as well. The Burnt Garlic Rice and Vegetables in hot garlic sauce are good picks. You can wrap up your meal with the Darsaan and Icecream. We had it with a generous sprinkling of chocolate sauce, which is best avoided. Let them know right at the beginning.
Hunan is located adjacent to new BEL road near Mayuri signal. Primarily a Chinese food maker. We asked the chef to recommend us whatever best veg options they had, and sure, they did. Some starter and then noodles. The food was very tasty, service was good, and ambiance too was nice.
Reservation was quite smooth, fast & courteous service and very tasty food.. sure go again and recommend
Suitable for a family outing . Wide range of options / spread & quick, courteous service. May a bit harsh on the pocket !
For me, this is the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Staff is very friendly and give details and recommendation about the food. Ambiance is good. They have valet parking as well.
I found the restaurant to be average with food being ok ok in taste. Not much variety for vegetarians. No paneer items in the menu. Only tofu dishes available. Ambience is also ok, not great. Can go with family or friends. They have covered car/bike parking for their customers in basement which is very important as this restaurant is in the very busy street of kormangla which is also narrow and so it's difficult to find a parking place. If you are a Chinese lover, you can give it a try!
