This restaurant will surely gratify a native Bengali’s craving for home cooked Bengali delicacies. It is a a small little outlet located on the first floor of Koramangala 1017 and has basic chairs and tables neatly laid out. A refreshing Bengali beverage to try here is the aam pora shorbot where the roasted baby mango pulp is muggled with plain water, sugar and cumin. The jhinga aloo poshto is another classic made with a handful of half-ground poppy seeds and sliced ridge gourds. Ilish lovers do not need a reason to try the shorshe Ilish which has sweet tasting fresh fish in a peppery mustard gravy.
