Mama Mexicana is located on the restaurant floor of 1MG Mall. Compared to the other bigwigs around this space is relatively quieter but does make for a good meal with the family. The interiors are nice and colourful – with a wall being covered with a mural depicting Mexico in all its glory; habanero chilli pinatas from the ceiling and a little indoor water body. We started with some 'Crusted Potato Wedges' which had a nice spicy coat to them making them a good combination with our 'Breezers' (a bucket of 5 at a very reasonable rate). We then moved on to the 'Chicken Wings doused in a Mexican Sauce'. Quite nice and moist these were. The 'Mamma’s Tex Mex Tenderloin Burger' is a complete meal, albeit a small burger. It comes with 'Fries' and a 'Slaw'. Then there is a selection of pizzas as well. The place is really good for children considering it has pizzas, burgers, shakes, tacos and more. The milkshakes are quite nice as well. End your meal on a 'Classic Brownie with Ice Cream'. It is quite a nice brownie, this one.
