So, time and again, there are Modern Indian restaurants opening every year but this one is for real and it truly deserves to be on your go-to list when it comes to some outstanding Indian food. Even though it is in a mall, the ambience and vibe of the place is extremely posh and upmarket. The service is top notch and the food arrives quickly, no matter how packed the restaurant is. The food is a very fancy mix of Indian and some of the European influence to it, the chaat selection is totally worthy of your attention, so make sure you give it. The ‘Punjabi Style Samosa stuffed with Goat’s Cheese Mousse’ is a great rendition of the classic Samosa we’ve been eating. Try the array of drinks that they have, if you do not like something from the menu they will create something special for you based on what you want. But majorly, there is a high probability you do not like anything on the drinks menu, it is a very well crafted one! We tried the ‘Apple and Cheery Cooler’ that comes with freshly muddle mind, some apple chunks and fizz, topped with Cherries from Europe. The mains as well, include some of the classics while few of those are totally unheard and unseen of. Talk about the ‘Rara Murgh’ which is a nice khurchan style Chicken Curry cooked with red onion gravy. Try this with the ‘Tandoori Raan Masala Roti’ that is probably the most unique Roti in Bangalore right now. The masala is quite nice and has some secret spices to make that happen. But if you talk about something unusual, they also have the ‘Australian Barramundi Fish Tikka’ that is made Amritsari style to suit your taste. The desserts are equally well crafted and there is enough thought given making them taste great. We tried the ‘Gula Melaka Rasmalai’, who would have thought the Asian influence on the classic Rasmalai would work wonders as this! It has nice, caramel notes while the roasted almonds and the Rasmalai have a sublime and smooth feel on the palate.
