Misu is one of those places that you like instantly. It is not a massive space – the tables are well spaced and the service is courteous, without being intrusive. It is the small things, like ensuring the child’s meal is brought first, customizations to your drink are looked into and the staff know their menu well. When we see sushi, we tend to order it and so here we tried a few – the 'Teriyaki Chicken Steak Onigirazu', the 'Ebi Maki' and the 'BBQ Beef and Hot Sauce Roll'. All of which worked really well for us. The 'Xia Long Bao' here is flavourful. Heading into mains, you can choose from a range of noodle options that double up as complete meals – from the classic 'Hakka Noodles' to the 'Mamak Mee Goreng', 'Spicy Yaki Soba' and 'Pad Kee Mao' – all of which are available in options for meat eaters and vegetarians. The 'Mee Goreng with Chicken and Shrimp' and the 'Veg Spicy Yaki Soba' are good picks. And, we ensured that we had a steady flow of 'Steamed Edamame' on the table. I love anything to go with 'Jasmine Rice', and so stir-fries here like the 'Moo Goo Gai Pan', the 'Tofu Krapow', as well as the 'Beef Rendang Curry' hit all the right spots. For desserts, the 'Japanese Souffle Cheesecake' as well as the 'Sticky Rice with Mango' when it is in season is a great choice. The restaurant currently has a wine menu on offer.
