The food at Nasi and Mee touches upon known and slightly unusual Southeast Asian dishes. There is a strong Malaysian influence, as the owner is a fourth-generation Malaysian. Some of the best things to try here are the rendang curry with roti jalla (a pancake made with flour, eggs and coconut milk), the wok-fried sambal okra and prawns, the chicken and prawn pad Thai (which is absolutely delicious), and laksa curry and jasmine rice. The rendang, which is available in beef and chicken, is not atypical to what you would get in the city. The curry is drier, and the spice levels are not overpowering – delicious!
