For starters, let us talk about the location – the 13th floor of Barton Center gives you a bird’s eye view of the city. Day or night, it is a sight to behold. The service here, as always is unobtrusive yet spot on. Make a beginning with some of their cocktails – each one of them is light and refreshing and most importantly, well balanced. Try the 'Passion', it is a multi-coloured beauty and tastes amazing. The 'Vietnamese Pomelo Salad with Prawns' is light and fresh. The 'Banana Blossom Salad' is something I was trying for the first time and really nice, crunch factor and all. 'Lotus Stem' seems to be finding its way to many menus in the city and the 'Sichuan Salt and Pepper' version here is quite a delight. The 'Nonya Soft Shell Crabs' are a brilliant dish. This is one you will want to dig in hands and all. And, you will want to try the 'Akasaka Prawns'. There is the 'Roti Jala with Malacca Curry' which is great and for a really wholesome meal (particularly if you are dining on your own, the 'Nasi Lemak' makes for a brilliant meal. And, I have to say that the 'Ayyuthayan Sour Lime Curry' deserves a mention. Among the desserts, the 'Gula Melaka Crème Caramel' is the one to go with.
