In the city where every lane and cranny in crawling with some funky pub or lively little place to get together with friends, one more addition is always welcome. Take Koramangala for instance. The locality is known as one of the hippest vicinities in Bengaluru and when it comes to dining out, it is usually the first place you go to for a bite. Part of Koramangala on 100 Feet Road is a good-looking gastro-pub which goes by the name of ‘Over The Top’. Don’t assume by the name that the pub is decorated in a gaudy flashy manner, rather the name hints on its rooftop placement.

Over The Top is a lively little place that is ideal for small get togethers with friends or for unwinding after a long day at work. On weekends they organize fun events like stand up comedies that pulls in quite a crowd. Drink flows freely throughout the week. Tipplers are encouraged to dip into their bar menu, which is a pretty impressive selection of different kinds of booze. Keep an eye out for their happy hours, they take out some pretty interesting deals. Throw in few appetizers from their Indian, Continental menu to marry your drink. Rosemary malai kebab, beer battered prawns, surkh laal tikka, Singapore style satay, fish sticks, lemon grass hari mirch tikka, tandoori stuffed mushrooms and five spice chilly chicken will do very nicely.

Appetizers is a tempting array but do save some space for the main course which features dishes like, mutton rogan josh, pasta smoked chicken pepperoccino, paneer kalimirch, chicken roulade with red wine sauce, yellow Thai curry, Malabar prawn curry and paneer & vegetable shashlik with BBQ sauce. Finish with your favourite flavour of ice cream or their decadent chocolate fantasy. Due to Over The Top’s breezy terrace location, the pub has become a major hangout for the tipplers. While there is a perfectly charming indoor space, opt to sit outdoors surrounded by twinkling lights and potted plants. Vibe is informal, relaxed and cozy. After paying a marginally pricey bill, walk away happy.
