I was quite excited to try out Punjab Bistro in its new avatar. The lighting is much brighter, though those little romantic corners are still around. The menu has undergone a revamp but some of the best dishes of the earlier menu find a place here even today. Among the starters, the 'Palak Corn Quesadillas' will go down well with all at the table. Mildly spiced and easy to pick up and eat, a good one for the kids. The 'Beetroot Tikki' is a tad sweet but still works well. The 'Chole Tikki' is what spices things up and is a good choice. For the meat eaters, the 'Chicken Stuffed Drumsticks' is a great choice. The 'Murgh Tikka Punjab Bistro' is good as for the fish lovers, the 'Salmon Tikka' really makes a hero of the fish. Among the mains, the 'Firangi Sabzi' retains a nice crunch to the vegetables and the 'Murgh Makhani' does not shy away from the Makhan! And the 'Kachche Ghosht ki Biryani' is a pot of happiness with some succulent meat and aromatic rice. You have a wide choice in desserts and top picks are the 'Kulfi' which they have been known for and the 'Malpua Pudding'. The bar complements the menu rather well with some signature cocktails and a range of beers including a few craft.
