If there is one thing you are sure to find in Jayanagar, it is a vast range of vegetarian food. And in this particular case, we are looking at some good North Indian Khaana at Punjabi Raswada. If you want to start with some nibbles, then the 'Aloo Chaat is a good one to begin with. There is also a range of 'Papad' and an interesting 'Mixed Fruit Raita' that you can try. The 'Tandoori Gobi' has large florets of cauliflower in a marinade that will leave a telltale sign on your fingers but which is really nice. For the main course, you can opt for the 'Garlic Naan', 'Laccha Paratha' and the 'Butter Naan' and pair that with some 'Paneer Takatak', or some 'Ma Ki Daal'. The 'Punjabi Bhatinda Kofta' is also a great pick. 'Bhindi Do Pyaaza', 'Punjabi Chole Masala' as well as a 'Kadai Bhaji' all make for great mains. If you are feeling a bit under the weather, then the 'Dal Palak Khichdi' is what you should order and ask for a dollop of ghee or butter. Desserts are all the usual suspects – the 'Gulab Jamun', 'Rabdi', 'Kulfi' and of course 'Gajar ka Halwa'.
