It’s a sad thing to see Mughlai cuisine get’s watered down when sharing menu space with North Indian restaurants. Your paneer butter masalas, butter chickens takes over classic Mughlai dishes like Nalli Nihari, and hardly leave any room for them to shine, so it’s really welcoming to see restaurants like ‘Sharief Bhai’ dedicated exclusively into Mughlai cuisine. There are few pure Mughlai restaurants left standing in Bengaluru and Sharief Bhai is one of them. With it’s authentic Mughlai food, it manages to draw those old culinary souls who find immense pleasure in a plate of biryani than risotto.
