Not too deep in the heart of Koramangala is Tilt Gastro Pub, a drinks-grub-dance floor-sports screening place that basically caters to all age groups. The semi-open air seating space just as you enter is great to lounge about and throw back a few. The smoked garlic and cheese fries could do with a little more of both ingredients in their description. The tilted tilt wings make a good choice with the fisss – a drink of gin, mint and prosecco. The menu, especially of the cocktails, is extensive. For those who love something tangy to munch on, the prawny prawny to scrony with its tamarind glaze is just what you want, with a tilted kiss, an alcoholic concoction you must try. The dance floor is flanked by a seating set-up, but if you would rather have a ringside view, the mezzanine, along the railing is where you want to be. Perfect place to watch the screen and the dancing below. The drinks give you a happy high and the food satiates.
The #15thFBAB meet up was held in Tilt, which now has re-launched and I had the chance to attend the re launch party with a couple of other foodie friends. Tilt is located in Koramangala, right opposite Bathinda junction, offering some great cocktails and a fabulous ambience. They have the coolest dance floor with trippy water tiles, sexy lighting, a perfect place for a dj to play and not to forget a projector screen and great music! Bar counter is classy and the best part about the cocktails available here are how they use fresh juices to enhance the taste and not artificial juices or syrups. Tried the Rich bich and Pornstar Martini both were brilliant, loved it! Had the opportunity to meet the chef Roshan Paully who introduced us to some great molecular gastronomy. We had frozen popcorn which was at a temp as low as -300 degrees! A very unique version of watermelon and feta salad with syrup shooters in them, again very good! The pepper chicken and veg spring roll were delicious to binge on. And I had the opportunity to visit once again, as Mr Austin invited me to try their wide variety of cocktails. I took almost half an hour to browse through the menu, amazing range of cocktails and the best part is they use fresh fruit purée and no kind of artificial syrup or flavours, which makes the cocktail taste even better. We tried a couple of cocktails and my favourite picks are Dear honey and Passionera. The Passionera had fresh blueberry and raspberry purée in it mixed with vodka. Tilt also has a concept of do your own LIT, we had so much fun making it ourselves in the huge jam jar. And I just say, it's super strong. Honestly, tilt is the best choice for cocktails enthusiasts and also party freaks as they have amazing parties and events over the weekends. Coming to the food, this time I tried Thai style prawns, chicken popcorn in Chinese sauce, chicken wings and a murgh tandoori preparation specially curated by the chef. The plating of every dish was beautiful! I'm not a fan of Thai flavours, so the prawns didn't appeal to me much. However I loved the chicken wings which came in a steel bucket were delicious! Spicy crispy wings tossed in hot sauce, lip smacking. The kebabs are easily one of the best I've ever had, soft chicken pieces marinated in spices accompanied with onions and chutneys, so good! The chicken popcorn was more like a chilly chicken preparation, good to munch on with the drinks. I was too stuffed with the appetisers and almost 3-5 cocktails so couldn't even opt for main course but they have a wonderful variety of pastas and pizzas as well. I also tried a dessert, which was gorgeous and plated so fancy! I had an absolutely amazing night and I cannot wait to go back here and party again! The new version of tilt is awesome, and the party freaks must go here. Everyone's bound to fall in love with their kickass ambience, food and cocktails. The hospitality is amazing, it's one of the best I have ever received, the staff is very receptive and well informed about their menu. Pricing is slightly steep about 400-500 rupees per cocktail but they're worth it. No dilution and just pure flavours! Loved my tilt experience and I recommend everyone to go ahead and try this place.
The first two times I was in Tilt - the food was good, service was slow but the music was bang on. Loved it. Recently when I went, the whole pub was smelling really really bad - they had to use room freshner to get the smell out. Food was okayish and the service was better than the last two times. Music gets better as the time passes.
Tilt Gastro Lounge, Koramangala 5th Block, Bangalore . We were on a mission to find a place for us on Friday night. We then decided to tilt ourselves a bit and landed here with a table reservation that we made. . The ambience looked fine, but then things are not always they seem at start. We ordered food and drinks, after telling the waiter that we have Zomato gold with us, but seemed like he was not much aware about it. . We ordered the following: - Chicken Wings - good - Nachos - just ok - peanut masala - fine - Fresh garlic exotic Vegetable pizza - not recommended - LIIT - good presentation but is not that strong - Cosmopolitan - the best cocktail of what we tried - Beer - bottled . The service here is not up to the mark. The waiter seemed drunk and was getting wrong dishes/drinks to our table. . There is a dance floor here, playing bollywood music too. But, is not that great. . I will overall rate this place 3/5. . With Love Thetechnifoodie
Lovely atmosphere and an amazing crowd we always find here. Visited this a couple of times, and completely loved it.
The look and feel inside it very good. But the service is very poor. The waiters say if you want stay else you can go...horrible
