Colorful wall art and a charming waiting area up front, as well as garden seating and an indoor area with couches and cushioned seats around wooden tables, makes the ambience one of Tim Tai’s winning aspects. The place does get packed, especially on the weekends, so book a table or plan ahead when planning visit. A range of food from various Asian countries, running the gamut from Chinese to Thai, Vietnamese, Malay and even a few Burmese and Sri Lankan delicacies means that the offerings can cater to the more adventurous palate as well as those looking for standard Chinese (yes Indian Chinese too) options. The 'Crispy Lamb' and 'Shredded Lamb' are both excellent choices for lamb lovers. 'Ginger Chicken with Woodear Mushroom' and 'Chengdu Chicken with Mountain Garlic' are two unusual chicken stir fries. End your meal on a sweet note with one of the establishment’s takes on Asian desserts - the 'Stuffed Litchi Fritters in Coconut Cream' or 'Tub Tim Krob' (water chestnuts and coconut cream).

Presentation of food is effective and both vegetarian and non- vegetarians get spoilt for choice. The place has a whiff of fresh air which will draw you here time and again. You have to come here in formal attire. Kids are allowed and you can ask for a baby seat when you come here with small children.
