There is something supremely cute about Truffles. It is not the best looking café in town nor does it claim to serve gourmet food, and yet their burgers are good enough for seconds and they make such delicious milkshakes that you would not mind gaining a few calories for them. They make other things as well – pasta, soup, salads, a few other mains, but I have rarely looked at those sections. Here are my favourites burgers: Peri Peri chicken, sloppy lamb, All American cheese, and the chicken steak burger with barbecue sauce. And yes, they make a decent roast lamb as well, which is part of their main course menu. Wash it down with a rich chocolate milkshake.
