The outskirts of Chandigarh are now slowly but surely attracting diners with their range of dining options. When it comes to fine-dining, Hotel Park Plaza in Zirakpur has led the way. The hotel's bar recently rechristened as Bottle Room is styled like a gentleman’s club. The interiors are plush – think comfy couches and understated elegance. The place also houses a pool table where guests can enjoy a game while enjoying their drinks. Nevertheless, it is a nice place for a quiet company. The menu brings in starters and quick bites. You can also order from the hotel’s restaurant menu and the staff is happy to accommodate. We relished the ‘Vada Pav’, ‘Keema Pao Juicy Lucy’ as well as the ‘Massaman Chicken Curry’. The curry was a perfect accompaniment to the ‘Spinach Fried Rice’. The pricing is a tad steep but the quality is top-notch. Also full marks for the presentation.
