The name is no less than a tongue twister but this restaurant in Kharar means ‘delicious’ in Turkish. The place is located on the busy highway and while it is an unlikely spot for a fine-diner, it does cater to the nearby residential area. The interiors, some areas are getting a facelift, are comfortable and there is a bar area as well. Unlike its Turkish influence in the name, the menu offers everything from south Indian staples like dosa, vadas to Continental quick bites, burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, north Indian meals et al. It seems to be going all out to please multiple palates. There is a selection of starters in the north Indian fare which seems to be a highlight here. Choose from the likes of ‘Tandoori Gobhi’, ‘Dahi Ke Kebab’ to ‘Afghani Murg’, ‘Galauti Kebab’ and more. Also, in the mix is Chinese fare. We tried the ‘Dhabey Ki Dal’ paired with 'Garlic Naan. The ‘Mutton Rahra Gosht’ was spicy and very greasy. In comparison, the ‘Malai Kofta Dilkhush’ did better. If you are looking for eating out options in Kharar that offer a multi-cuisine spread, you may try Lezzetli.
