Even though restaurants dishing out non-vegetarian fare are a popular choice here, Shriyum has managed to pull in the crowds for its all-vegetarian menu. It is styled like a fine-dining restaurant. The ambience in muted colours is very inviting and gives the place a clean look. The wooden panels and accents give Shriyum a unique identity. There is plenty of dining space without looking stuffy. One is quick to be ushered in and taken to a table. The menu packs in a sizable number of north Indian fare. As it is a vegetarian restaurant, you will find a lot of emphasis on paneer. The appetisers bring in the usual fare like ‘Dahi Ke Kebab’, ‘Paneer Malai Tikka’, ‘Cheese Fingers’, ‘Moong Dal Seekh’, ‘Stuffed Potato Rolls’ and ‘Achaari Paneer Tikka’. The main course is plump and includes the quintessential vegetarian dishes like ‘Paneer Kadhai Masala’, ‘Paneer Makhani’, ‘Palak Paneer’, ‘Lehsuni Dhania Paneer’...you get the drift. Soya, another vegetarian favourite, appears in a number of dishes here. The selection of bread is good. There is a special ‘Family pack’ available from Monday to Thursday. The staff is quick to make recommendations and service is efficient.
