Even though most hotels and restaurants offer a well-stocked bar, there are some places that charm you with their ambience. Among them is The Circle Bar. It is perhaps the first bar we have spotted in the city that is not behind closed doors, in the basement or has dark lighting to add to the “mood”. The Circle Bar housed in The Lalit Chandigarh is situated near the lobby and makes the most of the hotel’s signature circular window design. It’s a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the view. Even though you get to see the hotel’s porch and nearby greens, it is a welcome change nevertheless. What is more, you can actually unwind over a drink during the day. As is expected of a 5-star property, the bar here is well stocked and offers a range of premium drinks and wines. The wine list is substantial and so is the range of single malts. To please diners, there are special offers and festivals that are regularly organised. The food menu is mostly finger food to cater to the bar. The menu is concise but packs in popular light bites. You can choose from the likes of ‘Lavash and Pita With Hummus Dip’, ‘Quesadillas’, ‘Jalapeno Cheese Bites’ and ‘Wok Tossed Veggies and Mushroom’. So if you are looking to take in the view, meet a friend over a drink then head to the Circle Bar.
