If you happen to be shopping at Express Avenue Mall, Royapettah, Chennai then we have the perfect place for you to unwind. On the third floor of the mall presides a lovely and intimate restaurant ‘DINE’ which is pretty popular amongst the city crowd. DINE is different from your average day-of-the-mill restaurants because of its cool elegance and edgy style. A dimly lit high ceilinged room is your first impression of DINE but when you take a deeper look you start noticing the charming details. Furnishings are dark and warm so if you are planning a special dinner to impress a loved one or even an important business client than pick DINE. Kids specially love to sit near the large fish aquarium that flanks the room. While they take their time to count the fishes you can dine in peace.
Although their food is delicious they pay extra attention to the presentation. The food is displayed to its full glory on pretty platters. The service of DINE is another plus. The staff is courteous and attentive of your needs at all times. They try their best to give you a flawless evening minus any mishaps. If you want your food to made a certain way feel free to instruct your server and the chef will be most happy to oblige. Another note-worthy thing about DINE is the warmth of the chef. He personally visits each table and ask about their meal which I must say is a lovely gesture. Menu of DINE showcases cuisines from North India, Italy and China. Begin tasting with soup of the day, Greek salad, dragon chicken, French fries, spring roll, pepper chicken, chilli paneer, salt & pepper baby corn and mushroom Manchurian.
The length of the menu may surprise you because it is compact and short but they have enough variety to tempt your taste buds. The mains consists of numerous curries, pastas, sandwiches and burgers so feel free to order whatever suits your fantasy. Tuck in some chicken roast gravy with a fragrant biryani or feast on a plate of fish ‘n’ chips. The variety is good and impressive. For sweet ending have a tiramisu or blueberry cheesecake.
