Pleasure of dining at a multi-cuisine restaurant cannot compare with anything else. One gets to enjoy a melange of global cuisines on one table and dabble into different flavours at one time. A diner doesn’t have to limit himself to just one sort of flavour palette and can go as exotic as they want. Not only you are treated to an extensive menu, you can enjoy it all for a fairly budget-friendly price. Especially in Chennai which is such a global city where gastronomy is concerned, such multi-cuisine restaurants are plenty. But very few are as good as ‘Oasis’ which is a superb extension of Radisson Blu hotel in Egmore vicinity. The locality is a trendy one so the hotel gets abundance of footfall of hungry patrons who are willing to drop a bundle for a decent meal. It gets visited by local families, travellers, businessmen and those who simply have appreciation for good food.

The restaurant is designed in a very conventional manner, very similar to what you normally see in other hotel lobbies. The space is generous running with a row of large picture windows, which does a lot to bring the outdoors in. You can judge the opulence by the marble flooring and a well composed space that has plenty of room to move around. Lightweight furniture in deep brown is added to the room where you can sit and relax over gorgeous food. Tall planters encased in marble pots highlights what was a monotonous room. The effect at the end is elegant, tasteful, classy and posh. Oasis does a good job of extending a smooth efficient service. The staff is well-trained and delivers a friendly yet cordial service to you.

Menu takes care of their patrons beautifully by offering them a wide and global variety. You might find it expensive but let us assure you, it’s perfectly worth it. You will get to enjoy cuisines like North-Indian, Chinese and Continental. If you are unsure, take advantage of their set menu. As starter on offer is, pudina paneer tikka, lemon pepper seafood soup, kasoori mahi tikki, chilli garlic cauliflower, herb roasted potato, chicken 65, chicken popcorn and subz ki tikki. Main course proceeds with, gosht dum biryani, zucchini tamatar, mix veg in hot garlic sauce, roasted chicken with green apple jus, stir fried lamb in oyster sauce and meen manga kulambu. Desserts is a heady conclusion to a great meal.
