From a formulaic Indian restaurant in a hotel, Baluchi has metamorphosed into a trendy eatery with sections devoted to each region where the Lalit chain has a hotel. Thus, expect to have Kashmir, Bengal, Kerala, Goa, Rajasthan and Delhi represented in the food. Do not miss the bread bar: a one of a kind concept showcasing a selection of four slightly unusual breads as accompaniments to your food or simple to nibble on with a glass of wine.
The service at this restaurant was exemplary. The staff was literally on their toes and all requirements were met even before asking for it. The humble and courteous attitude underlies the outstanding service. It beats Machan, Masala Art etc hands down.
The food (both veg and non-veg) is scrumptious & succulent.

Baluchi has been a go-to place for my family and we love the food there. The service is always cheerful and happy so it keeps us going back for more. The kebabs are my favourite and my mother loves the mutton curry. Recently we tried the dahi ke kebabs which we hadn’t before and loved them! The desserts too, are delicious.
The ambience at Baluchi is really classy and has a relaxed vibe. Went with my whole family for lunch one Sunday and we were a big group of people. The staff at Baluchi was accommodating and arranged seating for us. The food was really delicious. Our whole family is vegetarian and we were very pleased with the menu. We ate the Dal Baluchi, Goving gatta curry, subz ki seekh, bhuttey ke kebab, ajwain paneer tikka and punjabi rajma masala. All the food was delectable! We were too stuffed for dessert but thats something to look forward to for the next time that we go there!
I think its one of the biggest restaurant in Delhi. The food is good with central location. The only backlog is its service where this restaurant's staff is maybe untrained to cater guest's requirements. But this is best premium option in CP. Baluchi boasts of dal which is actually nice. However paneer is also equally delicious. Breads are served freshly cooked.

The interiors of Baluchi are beautifully designed and every inch of the space shouts money. It is a well-decorated space, which is created by using a heavy influence of wood. From walls to ceiling, everything is touched in wood, so in the end you get a sense of serenity and warmth excluded by the décor. Floors are made out of gleaming marble forming a most attractive chevron pattern, instantly catching the eye of the patrons. The look is upscale, luxurious, modern and earthy. If you are part of a large dinner party then ask your server to seat you in their private dining area. Baluchi is counted as one of the most loveliest restaurants in the city and is called a complete package. A spectacular wine library stands on one corner of the restaurant, beckoning you to indulge.
Although quite expensive, dining at Baluchi doesn’t pinch much when you consider its brilliant cooking and even marvellous menu, that forays into Mughlai, South-Indian and North-Indian cuisine. Begin with a refreshing glass of ganne ka ras before hitting the appetizers section. Tuck into their, malai artichoke, pomfret hara masala, ajwaini paneer tikka, gilafi murgh ke seekh, bhuttey ke kebab, raan-e-dum Baluchi, dahi aur sing daney ke kebab, dill salmon tikka and Awadhi kalmi kebab. You are recommended to save some appetite for the main course, for it is fantastic. You should try out dishes like, murgh Balti yakhni, vegetable khurma, afghani nalli nihari, govind gatta curry, kozhi poondu masala. Each dish comes with a wine pairing recommendation. It’s wise to take it to fully enjoy the flavours.
