Bonitos, which is located at the lobby level of the Uppal, is an elegant and airy restaurant with a great view of the palatial looking courtyard in the centre of the peaceful retreat. The food, however, sadly does not match the serene ambiance. The dim sum are avoidable as is the watery Thai curry with mashed soggy jasmine rice. The Scottish fish and chips is a tad bit too oily but does not disappoint in terms of flavour. Lastly, the service personnel are not too experienced in handling guest complaints graciously. The restaurant, however, is good place to go if one is looking for a secluded place to dine.
