Rating - 23/30

Celebrity Chef Ritu Dalmia's Cafe Diva has opened with its hallmark features – gently elegant, embellishment-free decor, back-friendly chairs and no-fuss tables, and a light, at times quirky, menu – at the city's new dining destination opposite one of its most sought-after schools. The Sangam Courtyard has still to acquire the buzz of Cyber Hub Gurgaon, but it is getting busier and you can sense the difference in the footfalls at Cafe Diva after it got its liquor licence not long ago. The menu has all the pluses of Cafe Diva – comfort food delivered with finesse, and of course, plenty of surprises such pizzas with a ragi (foxtail millet) base (they even have a ragi salad), or fish/prawn moilee served with quinoa, or Bikaneri matar ki roti paired with a Kerala-style papaya curry. That's ghar ka khana for you, though the must-haves remain the pizzas, bruschetta and pastas. The guests are smart, the serving staff well-informed, and the ambience warm and welcoming. A perky addition to a neighbourhood known so far only for its faceless 'government quarters' housing our country's babudom.

The location and ambiance is good.
I had a good experience visiting here. If you are looking for budget restaurant. This isn't it. Else you will love it here. You can spend some quality time with your friends. The services and staff are good. You can also have the complimentary dessert if you book it from eazydiner. Seems a bit expensive. Located on the first floor of Sangam courtyard.

A Bit Disappointed With the Food
Went to Cafe Diva with high expectations but was a bit disappointed with the experience. Tried Fried Green Tomato and Empanadas filled with feta Roasted Pumpkin in the starters. Both were OK, nothing bad but not so great either. Tried a mix of Verde Pugilese Pizza in the main course. The Pizza crust was soft and not that crunchy as I expected. May be authentic Italian food is like that and what I have eaten so far is Indianised version of Italian food. Titamisu was free in our deal and it was good. Overall seems a bit overpriced to me.

Diva Diva
Located on the first floor of a renovated sangam, one must visit this for Beautiful food. I know the adjective is delicious, but great work of combining taste with presentation. The food actually looked beautiful. Ordered Asian Sesame chicken salad, Millet and roasted pepper salad, pumpkin soup, empanadas that were heavenly pockets of pumpkin(yes pumpkin can taste heavenly) the beetroot dip was an excellent accompaniment. For the main course we ordered verde and recco pizze with whole wheat base and millet base. The combination was awesome and so was the preparation. Must visit, but make sure to call for reservation. The downside is the size of the cafe, which one cant help. But surely the windows can be tinted, because every single passerby drools over the dishes ordered :-) The dessert was Tiramisu and chocolate mousse. The Tiramisu wasnt properly set but tasted great and the mousse was light airy and absolutely better than the ones I have ever tasted. All in all a great evening and even greater food.

Cafe Diva - for a nice quiet evening!
Visited cafe diva after having been to other diva restaurants in Delhi. overall great experience - good food, nice quiet ambience and friendly staff. We tried the recommended peas parantha with papaya curry and it was a very pleasant surprise! would definitely recommend! no liquor yet but that wasn't a dampener at least for us.

About Cafe Diva

In case for desserts, ask your server for the dessert of the day and choose from the day’s selection. Café Diva you will find to be a little expensive, but that is justified due to its creativity and authenticity. In typical Ritu Dalmia’s style, Café Diva is designed to reflect class and subtlety. A wide room flanked by a row of tall bay windows lets you peek in the entire courtyard. Sit by the window to watch people go by to pass the time between the courses. Café Diva is elegant, delicate, eye-pleasing and chic. The restaurant is abuzz with activity at meal times hard for you to obtain a table – call ahead.
