The famous American pizza label has found its way to humble streets of cyber hub, Gurgaon. California Pizza Kitchen seems modest on first glance but don’t be misled by its frugal appearance. The prices will surprise you if food doesn’t. Maybe the heavenly taste or its claim to fame (appeared on Oprah & Ellen DeGeneres show) has earned the chain its top prices. But authenticity costs money and if this isn’t real than I don’t know what is. The whole restaurant is dedicated in making awesome pies whatever crust you go for. The no fuss interiors is opposite to the attention they put in their pizzas. The place is designed to seat extra-large crowd. If you are doubtful that your gang may not find place then banish the doubts. Tables run way long. The servers are eager to attend you and will help you with your selection. They explain about the toppings really well.

Beside the pizzas the restaurant serves full-fledged three course meal. Appetizers are the kinds that work with your drinks pretty well. Croquettes, lettuce wraps, quesadilla, Tuscan hummus, chips & dips, wonton rolls and spicy chicken supreme. The platters serve better for larger groups. Heart-warming soups and salads are classics that have been around for decades. Stuffier options serve sandwiches with veg and non-veg filling. Fresh pizzas are what gets the spotlight here. Sizes 9” and 14” are what they roll. Baja supreme pizza, wild exotic mushrooms, chicken fajita pizza, greek, California veggie, kasundi paneer pizza, rustica, goat’s cheese, meat cravers, the works and basil pesto pizza are most exotic pizzas. The crunchy crust and flavourful sauce packs a punch. The pastas are tossed in variety of sauces with salmon, chicken, veggies and shrimp. House speciality presents baked fish, spinach & paneer malfati, chicken peri peri, fire roasted enchiladas, and chicken parmesan.

Red velvet cake, tiramisu, sticky toffee pudding, chocolate banana cake, American buttercake, homemade ice creams and white chocolate strawberry cheesecake graces the dessert section. To pair your food beer, gin, vodka, cognac, tequila, rum, whisky, wines, cocktails and mocktails are provided by the house.
