With a well-stocked bar positioned right at the center of Capital Kitchen, in Taj Diplomatic Enclave, you have a reason to be happy. And if you manage to snag a table lining the glass-fronted exterior wall, you will enjoy uninterrupted views of the hotel’s lush green lawns, the swimming pool and a cozy play area for kids. The all-day dining restaurant has been conceptualized as a well-lit, breezy space with inverted bowl-shaped pendant lamps in copper tones, Chinese ceramic vases and wooden latticework acting as décor accents. Since it is pegged as an outfit serving food 24x7, there are plenty of Indian and Western breakfast options as well as multiple Asian and European mains and small plates. In addition, there are Taj signatures like Lamprais, Cobb salad and chicken bunny chow that have wooed diners across the brand’s various properties. The nasi goreng and Hanoi grilled lamb come recommended, while their dessert called once upon a time is elaborately constructed with baked Philadelphia cream cheesecake, Graham cracker base, fruit and red berry sauce.
