People come to Cha Shi for two reasons. One is to see and be seen. If possible, with a few bags from bottega veneta and Louis Vuitton. The other is to eat an uncomplicated meal with surprisingly authentic flavours, at down-to-earth prices. The menu is printed on an order form. You tick off the items you want, and it will be served to you course-wise. The salads and dimsum are good and the sushi is value for money. It is the main courses that are best options here, particularly the Mama Noodles and Tom Yum Noodles. All mains are of the meal in a bowl variety. And you’ve got the best people-watching venue in the city.
