Cosy and intimate, the multi-cuisine menu and bistro style chairs lend a relaxing air of casual dining here and can seat people both indoors and outdoors. Not particularly plush surroundings but comfortable and conducive to leisurely dinners or a quick lunch. The warm dark wood, the quirky circus inspired lighting and the hand-painted balloon wall gives it a distinct personality. When you yearn for a good old-fashioned soup, Circus is the place. Begin your meal with starters by digging into the delicious ‘Hawrah jhalmuri’ or a ‘palak patta chaat’. I was pleasantly surprised to find ‘sizzling tenderloin with bird chilli’ on the menu and would recommend the same. The food here is simple though some dishes look and taste similar; that said the ingredients are fresh and hence the food tastes fairly above average. Shivkaran Singh has caught the pulse of the market with some comfort food, great ambience and lip-smacking cocktails that are absolutely affordable and is already attracting the cities foodies in droves. All in all, Circus has the perfect ingredients to keep the Modern day yuppie enthralled!
