This latest entrant by the Imperfecto chain is located at The Pride Plaza Hotel, Aerocity, New Delhi. Its vintage decor gives you the sense of a timeless elegance with Neo-Gothic interiors (think of rustic chandeliers, Charpoy ceilings, handmade wall lights, medieval Romanesque art and ornate stonework) and warm, yellow lights. Imperfecto Shor is India’s first and only Gothic and barbaric inspired café that caters to its patrons 24x7, along with a nightclub (Open only on weekends) adjacent to it, that showcases an exhaustive list of things to keep you entertained. The food menu of this café has been carefully curated by Akanksha Dean, the young Chef Manager. The menu travels all through Europe, America, Asia and even India. They also have a Cool Island bar offering innovative beverages and crafted cocktails. Each cocktail at the Imperfecto Shor Café is not only complex in its own flavour but they are also paired with a nibble complimenting each other. Kick start your meal here with the ‘Helen Charlotte's Heavenly Spirit’- this salad has Watermelon, Arugula, Feta and Raspberry dressing. If you’re in the mood for some drama, don’t get fooled by the name ‘Mellow Drama’ because it’s all drama- paired with Tequila, Grapefruit and Guava- served with mash potatoes, Mexican chili and Mozzarella Cheese. For the main course, opt for ‘King Leopold's Succession’- Chicken, Fish or Tenderloin Patty with Veggies and Cheese served along with crispy Fries and ‘Shor’s Royal Murg Makhani – in-house version of the cult classic, succulent North Indian Butter Chicken’ paired with ‘Garlic Naan’. The ‘El Mango’ is the perfect summer cocktail served with Mango, Almond and Pistachio ice cream. All in all, this Café exudes tradition and class.
