  • This is Delhi's most expensive restaurant. You have been warned!
  • The chef is Diego Martinelli whose cooking is more modern than the usual Le Cirque formula. Ask for him and he will customise a menu for you
  • The wine list is extensive and comprehensive and if you look closely you'll find some bargains and good value wines

Vir's Verdict

24 /30

A branch of the venerable 20th century New York institution, the Delhi Le Cirque is elegant, roomy, and has good service. It has the air of a gentleman's club and though the menu replicates some of the stodgier Le Cirque standards, such as pasta primavera, the chefs have moved beyond the New York original’s French pretentions to give a more Italian touch to the menu.

Very good food and service. They have an outdoor terrace , which is amazing for pre dinner or sun downer drinks. Truly outstanding experience.

A super experience !
We visited La Cirque on the 3rd of June to cut the monotony of our many night out fine dining experiences within the city and we weren't disappointed at all! Apart from the little long walk from the banquet entrance (since the main entrance is shut for renovation), and the fact that they didn't have two of the Rieslings on the menu that we wanted to pair with our food, the experience at this awesome restaurant was a definitely a notch above the rest! We started with the restaurant's version of Caesar salad which was served with egg yolk on toast(it gave me a bit of a breakfast feel but the egg was cooked so much to perfection that I can't really complain!) For mains we had the crispy skin pork belly served with sweet yet tangy plum sauce. It was the best I've had .. ever !! We also had the porcini mushroom ravioli which was absolutely delectable !! The dessert was the famous table tiramisu which is the deconstructed version of the tiramisu, almost perfect . (I feel it had a little less hint of liqueur and the coffee jelly wasn't as smooth to taste as it could be) but a superb dessert nonetheless ! The restaurant manager , Sumit Rana was a friendly guy who even gifted me the family cookbook of the Maccioni family! Definitely a must visit and hopefully we'll get our wine the next time !!

Le cirque met my expectations
Le cirque is part of the global fine dining establishment. The restaurant is situated in the tenth floor of the hotel and does not require room key to go to that floor. I went alone. Ate potato Gnocchi and fries with truffle. The food came in time and waiting was not much. The restaurant was not very busy and I received a reservation that evening itself. Food tasted good. The wifi at restaurant was not easy to access. The tech help took forever to come. Had a mango dessert and was good.

Nice food, nice atmosphere
Visited this restaurant for a dinner while staying in the hotel. The food was pretty good, though the portion sizes were pretty small for the dish I ordered (lobster ravioli). We ordered an Indian sangiovese at the recommendation of the staff and it was excellent. Equally dessert (chocolate fondant) was excellent. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Top Italian @Top Hotel
Went with a group of 4 on a business dinner. Although no reservation was made the hostess was kind to accommodate our table on a busy night. We were served at the bar while our table was getting ready. Ordered martinis served to perfection, which were made by the maitre d himself. In the middle we were told that our table is ready and can move whenever we want. The barman helped us to move our drinks. Our waiter was knowledgeable and bubbly can't remember his name though he was tall and fairly built guy. I ordered the scallops for starters which were good. My colleagues liked theirs as well. For the main course we ordered duck ..chicken.. risotto ..and lamb. My duck was super... never had such an amazing one . Only one recommendation we made was for the lobster risotto which was a little salty for my colleague. Rest everything was perfect . Although the manager asked us to remove it but we denied as it was not that bad and we mentioned since someone asked. For desserts we had a tiramisu which was made in front of us. The creme brulle was amazing and so as the pannacotta. Overall a fantastic experience someone always there to look after you even before you raise your head. Great food ! Friendly service!
