Dog-lovers will understand my grouch for the lack of cafes in the city where I can chill with my 4-legged pal. Puppychino is god-sent and feels like the sort of space made by dog-lovers for dog-lovers. It is a bit out of the way, on the 3rd floor of a nondescript Shahpur Jat lane, but step inside and you are immediately greeted by the wagging tails of the resident dogs - Moos the Labrador and Simba the Husky. The cafe is bifurcated into a regular dining area where you can sit with your dog and an unfurnished play area. The extensive menu features cafe staples as well as speciality dog food. I enjoyed my thick 'Peanut Butter Oreo Shake' and thin crust 'BBQ Chicken Pizza' while Rex, my labrador, made short work of his 'Spanish Omelette', 'Woofle Waffle' and 'Ice-Cream'. It took some prodding for Rex’s Woofsome 'Cupcake', while I was not articularly excited by my 'Penne In Pesto' and dry 'BLT Sandwich'. The 'Bacon Risotto' was a complete disaster with sharp nitrite flavours overwhelming the dish.
