Now two branches old, Smokey’s is as perfect a balance as you can get between Western food (burgers, grills, steaks) and the Indian palate. The food is spicy with a whole variety of chillies like jalapeno and paprika but fortunately, the chilli level is used to ramp up the taste rather than to bring tears in your eyes. Vaguely masculine in appearance, it has a no-nonsense wine list that is priced much more moderately than the competition. Their events range from karaoke on Wednesdays and pop music on Fridays to Bollywood on Saturday evenings.
The outlet is well situated though parking can be a bit of issue The place us good for burgers etc The appitizers were very interesting The place is well know for it's cocktails and if you are in a mood to get high this is the place The bar tenders are very knowledgable The music is great and will get you in the mood to groove
Great place for some yummy food which is tastefully prepared. The flavor stays with you even long after you have finished food. The Polenta Crusted Chicken and Atomic Drumsticks were a mix of fiery and delicious. The grilled lamb kebabs were so juicy and soft that you can eat one after another. The background music is also soothing to the ears. A good place to hang out with friends on weekends.
Had team lunch with veg + non-veg favoring persons, vegetarian options were less which was a bit disappointing. Though food is good and backed with great service. Ambience is fine. Burger and fries were delicious but the same can be enjoyed at Burger king as well.
Will suggest this place but if veg only people are more, give a thought.
Even though I was here for dinner and not drinks I couldn't help myself. The music is infectious and demands a drink. The food is so well presented that it tempted a dedicated carnivore like me to try the Goat Cheese Crostini. I had the lamb burger but was disappointed. The fries more than made up for it: they were crispy, thin and not too salty.
The food is also reasonably priced, though for drinks happy hours makes the most sense. When I go back, I'll make sure its for the Bollywood nights- I hear they are great.
Smokey's BBQ and Grill in Greater Kailash 2, South Delhi is inspired by BBQ joints in the mid-west. It is spread across two floors finished in wood and brick and is done up in a very masculine fashion. The food served here is typical of any good American steakhouse with dishes like pepper steak, the John Dory Fish, the smoked house chicken, all meat lasagne and Smokey’s BBQ style spaghetti. The burgers and hot dog buns are seemingly the best out of all the restaurants in GK. They have many Indian influenced dishes on their menu as well like the Andhra-style tenderloin chilli dog and the hara masala chilli tenderloin burger. The creativity and innovation in the menu plus the high quality food make smokey’s BBQ and Grill one of the best barbeque places in GK 2.Read More on Smokey's BBQ and Grill
