This vast all-day dining restaurant has had a bit of a roller-coaster ride. Designed by funky Japanese company Spin to look like a modern multi-cuisine restaurant, it was let down so badly by the food that it began to resemble a food court instead. But over the last few months, a remarkable transformation has taken place thanks to the Leela’s food-focussed General Manager, Michel Koopman and Executive Chef Ramon Salto who have overhauled the food so completely that this may well be one of the best buffets in the NCR.
Amazing food with very good ambience and very friendly staff.
A wide spread Buffet which makes it PERFECT!
Went there many times and haven't had any issues with the food quality or the service.
Had a great lunch buffet everytime with mocktails and ending with a cup of coffee!!
A great variety from Italian to Indian to salads and great number of starters with a wide variety of deserts.
The variety is exorbitant
The ambience is very well made to make it a perfect meal for any occasion at any time of the day
The staff is pretty friendly and is courteous enough to cater for any celebration.
Leela being a relatively new property makes it much more competitive and on the edge
The food quality and appearance is top notch
Making this place to be visited time and again
Tried their dinner buffet. The spread is huge in terms of space but limited in no of food items.Food is average . None of the food served is really mouthwatering except for the Chinese paos which were delicious and soft. The sweets were really remarkable and a huge variety which i really liked.Overall fine but nothing exceptional apart from
The ambiance . The drinks mock tales are a part of this package so dont forget to order them.
I redeemed my eazyrupees and got vouchers for dinner buffet at spectra, leela . While the ambiance was stunning , the food was not upto the mark , atleast the vegetarian food as we only tried that. They had various separate counters covering different cuisines and none of them were upto the mark except the Italian section . The Indian starters were kept prepared beforehand and heated and served so it was really disappointing. I am never going to waste my money here
booked thru easydinner app and got 1+1 deal which made the lunch buffet even all the more amazing for the anniversary date
the spread and variety is very good and so is the food . tried almost all things in vegetarian and have to say none of the dish was prepared half heartedly. the staff and service is also commendable and even for the buffet the staff is willing to go an extra mile for the guests
must must go for lunch buffet
A food paradise is how I want to define ‘Spectra’. A one stop destination for your every craving. Drive down with friends and family to Leela kempinski, Gurgaon and relish in the amazing spread of breakfast, lunch or dinner. But the first thing which hits you upon entering is the sheer beauty of the place. The 360 degree view is stunning and add to that an edgy yet welcoming ambience. The huge glass window gives an awesome view of ambience mall. If you are part of the large party ask for spectra’s private dining area to be opened. It’s really something. That’s a recommendation! The live cooking stations beckons you to explore them with the sizzles and aroma.
As you approach the benches you would be baffled by the variety offered. Middle east, European, Asian all kinds of regions to discover. From range of salads and starters of every kind, the restaurant excel in delivering to your table. In whatever mood you find yourself in there is something for everyone. The kababs and clear chicken soup comes commended. In mains fish is believed to be exceptional especially served with lemon sauce. Also pad thai, sushi and lobster fettuccini is to die for. To accompany the main course the restaurant provides a very impressive wine list as well as non- alcoholic beverages. Classics like Harvey’s wallbanger, Mojito, cosmopolitan, long island ice tea are frequently ordered. If you have fancier palette I am sure you will not be disappointed. For appointed drivers (read: Non-alcoholics) there are coffee and tea of every type.
Saving best for the last we will now talk about desserts. Oh man! What a spread. Green apple jalebi, caramel custard, tiramisu, crème brulee, cheesecake with blueberry sauce, cheese platter. Salivating much? The list is endless. So do yourself a favour and grab your girl and treat her to a nice wine and dine. Trust me it won’t hurt your wallet. You will enjoy superb buffet within four grand. So ask her to put on a cute dress and take her to Leela kempinski soon. I bet spectra will be your new old haunt.
