Located in Janakpuri, The Barbeque Company is a decent stop for those looking to enjoy a not so fancy hearty meal. With options of both Buffet and A la Carte, they have an elaborate menu to choose from. The interiors are simple and the place is perfect for dining with groups and family. Among the must-try dishes are their 'Vegetarian Kofta Curry' and 'Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani'.
Buffets are meant to be special and The Barbeque company makes u feel nothing less than that The menu is inviting, the staff is polite and the ambience is beautiful. The starters :- Chicken tikka, crispy corn, prawns, kebabs, fish etc etc would definitely make a kids dream. Lots and lots variety and the prompt service really made the experience even better. I really love how the soft drinks and other non-alcoholic drinks are complimentary here A big kudos for that. 🙌 The main course has a lot of variety as well. With some Asian inspired dishes as well as the flavoursome North Indian dishes. They do have a lot of variety in the dessert section as well. Their Swiss rolls were light and tasty. Their brownies and gulab jamuns were really good as well. Overall for 849 per person, it's a buffet experience u must have.🙌
To be very precise first impression create a lot of mental effect the whole time you are at the dining in the said restaurant... at the entrance being 20 minutes delayed we were greeted like we made an offense ,, on the top of it , it would have been better if we would not have been offered the table .. but tables were available..... building reputation takes a lot of time but falling from high reputation takes very little .... so manager / staff or whoever, learn to respect the guests..... food was well cooked and delicious...
Wow, Great Variety, Great Food, Super Experience. Super Range of Veg and Non Veg Starters. Thanks to the Staff (Rakesh) for serving us.
After submitting the previous review, I visited the place again on 22nd Sept, 2018 to check the progress. But to your surprise things has deteriorated further,. We have got the table near the entrance, which was pretty ok. The attendant just asked me Veg or N Veg, this was my first interaction on the table. I have to ask for the water. Beverage selling is Zero, because the I had to ask for the beverage list & offer. He was not sure of whats available or not available. Credit goes to the management, training is something which is at ' ?'. We been served with the starters but no one took the initiative or pain to explain the dips lying on the table and the best way to have it i.e. food combination with dips. Also, they have changes the concept of keeping the butter sauce to baste the grills, resulting which you have been forced to eat the burnt and hard tissues, to which they mention as Chef Special. There were four to five guys in suits n ties , seems like managers, but busy chatting and flattering the people at Podium rather taking care of the business in hand. I used the washroom, wherein there was urine spilled on the floor and people were using the same & walking inside with that filth with shoes, how hygienic it will be one can imagine. I found no tissue inside. Even there was nothing like hourly check schedule card on the back of the door except the transparent sheet pasted with pocket. Over request Mr. Rajender introduced himself to be the restaurant Manager and gave me the reason of heavy traffic. I believe the management should hire a team to manage the facility as well. It not the managers , its the people down the line which maintains the property and adds on to the experience. One of the Chef visited my table and asked about the food but it was too late to recover or reply as I was almost through with my part of meal. I requested One of the manager/Captain (sorry cannot recall the name) for the lemon butter sauce if possible. He first denied and later agreed. I have waited for the same for the next half an hour and called that person out of the mob and asked for the butter sauce. I was shocked to get the reply from him "Sir, ! abhi tak aya nahi ? " ; I was left with no answer to his question rather having a look at my table again. He brought in the stuff later, but it was too late. Anyways thanks to him. Side plate for the waste bones etc was pretty full and no one bothered to replace the same. I asked someone, he did but hardly bothered to place the new one as we were mid of the snacks session. The attendant (Someone Ganshyam) was giving very arrogant looks as I had to ask for the repeat of the my drink, upselling is Zero. This feedback is not a complaint but I appreciate if the Management & the brand promoters should take these point seriously. I had seen the brands loosing the charm because of service and quality issue, no matter how much and on what price do you offer. I was planning to go to Punjab Grill but it was my bad luck that I made my mind because of my 11years daughter. No worries. Best of luck ! Revenue is more important than the client & services for the promoters.
