Located in Janakpuri, The Barbeque Company is a decent stop for those looking to enjoy a not so fancy hearty meal. With options of both Buffet and A la Carte, they have an elaborate menu to choose from. The interiors are simple and the place is perfect for dining with groups and family. Among the must-try dishes are their 'Vegetarian Kofta Curry' and 'Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani'.
2nd Jan, it was my daughter's birthday and we went their with some of our close relatives. But the kind of service and the food they served was really pathetic. While complaining to hotel staff and owner, they said it was a busy day hence they could not provide good service. What kind of excuse was this??
We went to this place for dinner. Nice ambience, service is great and I really liked the non vegetarian food there. Do try their oreo icecream. Wish they offer many more flavours. Not too costly either.I recommend BBQ company!
well there are some things that have become common with places like these...huge variety of snacks ...great service... too crowded .... taste of the food decent nothing exceptional... you are almost full till the snacks are over that it is hardly a time when you are able to enjoy the main course.... we were seated comfortably by an eager staff and were serviced quite well as is the case usually...the amritsari fish was particularly nice...the main course and desserts were nothing exception to write home about...
Chicken is very bad.. not properly cooked..Only wings are available..not the leg piece. Service is really very slow. One of the servants is behaving very rudely. his name is Mahesh Singh. His tone and attitude is really very bad. He is even not serving us well. You can't stay a minute longer after 2 hours in that BBQ. The interior of that BBQ is very bad than the expectation. Food is not up to the quality we expect from BBQ. Even some of the dishes were not fresh. Seriously waste of money.
Last week we decided to check out the BBQ company of Jail Road. It was packed but we were able to get table for two. The Ambience and seating is nice and it looks like BBQ nation. We ordered nonveg buffet and I was little surprise by their portion size on grill. Unlike BBQ nation here they put only two prawns , two chicken kabab ,two pineapples and so on so forth. I don't get the idea of putting two pieces on such long grilling stick. Anyhow , they had variety and taste but the moment you put food in mouth you will feel they miss the mark. Kuch kami hai types. Food was hot from outside and cold inside even it was on grill. They will not provide you will oil and seasoning unlike other so they food on grill becomes dry. The main buffet was much better then the grill and deserts options were OK. Nonveg buffet for two cost us 2000 on a weekend evening. They can definitely improve if they try. Not bad for one time.
Sometimes it's safe to retrieve back to what you know best. For our overindulgent taste buds, North Indian does the trick. When our palate is too tired of all the pizzas and burgers, it craves for good old-fashioned food that manages to put you back on gastronomic track. Those happen to be around West Delhi and are dying for a wholesome meal should definitely try `The Barbeque Company', a tasteful casual dining restaurant filled with curry potential. The restaurant is one of the best kept secrets of West Delhi and is almost always full of hungry diners, especially around weekend. You will find The Barbeque Company tucked at HL 1-2, L Block, Jail Road, New Delhi. It's an ideal place for families and large groups to have their loud lively meal.
Keeping it safe, the menu at The Barbeque Company brings together two of any foodie's favorite cuisines – North Indian & Chinese. Menu is not substantially lengthy but it houses great cult classics of North Indian and Chinese cuisines. Although the restaurant serves a decent a la carte meal, it's especially known for its buffets. Begin wading through the menu with appetizers like, pasta salad, paneer tikka shashlik, angara chicken tikka, corn methi kebab, basil prawns, khatta mitha pineapple, lemon fish, mutton seekh kebab, veg spring roll and Punjabi tandoori wings. Tackle the mains next, which is a lip-smacking compilation of dishes. Worth having are, laal maas, paneer khurchan, fish in chilly garlic sauce, hariyali kofta, methi murgh, chhole masala, chicken dum biryani, dal makhani and soya keema mutter masala.
The same excellence is seen in the restaurant's final part of the menu, desserts. Indulge your sweet tooth with, badami phirni, pineapple pastry, ice cream, moong dal halwa, green apple mousse, orange pound cake, hot chocolate brownie, mango cheese cake and chocolate pastry. Although buffets are nominally priced, you would do better by availing snap-worthy discounts and deals by booking your table with EazyDiner. Interiors of The Barbeque Company are kept simple yet attractive. Tasteful classic design of ivory walls matching with wooden furniture instantly makes you feel welcome. Formal dining tables are provided so one can sit comfortably and eat. It's a place meant for families and friends to sit together and eat in peace. There might not be anything striking about the décor but it comes across as inviting, smart and timeless.
