When a friend of ours came back to us raving about this particular restaurant, we knew we had to check it out immediately. So began our never-ending obsession with ‘Wok In The Clouds’. This is not a strange name in New Delhi as the brand already has more than one outlet in different parts of the city but we will focus on the busiest one, Rajouri Garden. The gastronomic scene of Rajouri Garden has improved tenfold after the introduction of Wok In The Clouds to the vicinity. Gourmets welcomed the restaurant with open arms and soon the name became something to bank upon in food industry. Although they do home delivery, we suggest you drop in anyways to experience the leisurely dining at Wok In The Clouds. Bring a food lover along, spread the joy!

While dining at Wok In The Clouds doesn’t come cheap, it’s all somehow worth it the moment you have the first bite. Their menu travels across Asia handpicking classic dishes from China, Thailand and some from India and Europe as well. However, stick with Pan Asian, it’s what they are known for. Have a boozy drink to kick-start your meal before moving onto the appetizers. Variety is mention-worthy. There is something for everyone. Begin tucking into, dragon rolls, zen dimsum, fish in chilly flakes, jumbo prawns, kaymi kai, miso soup, veg spring roll, garlic soya winglets, golden fried baby corn and double spicy fish. Main course will be even more splendid. Eat, sole fish in hot garlic sauce, wok fried seasonal vegetables with almonds, spicy kung pao chicken, shredded lamb in oyster sauce, fish hong kong and chicken black pepper.

With a lavish serving of pan fried noodles or clay pot rice, tuck in Wok In The Cloud’s scrumptious oriental gravies. Similar to the rest of the menu the dessert section is just as broad. Wok In The Clouds is unlike any Pan Asian restaurant you have ever seen. You go in expecting Chinese lanterns and golden dragons and what you find is an earthy wood-heavy furnishing. Décor is masculine and intense. Musical instruments mounted on the wall adds a unique creative touch.
