Wow! Momo is a chain of fast food restaurants headquartered in Kolkata that specializes in Momos, a dumpling popular in Nepal and parts of Tibet and India. It offers a crazy variety of momos with the spiciest chutneys. The simple wooden yet attractive furniture gives a warm Chinese ambience to the place. You are spoilt for choice as the menu consists of more than 25 different forms. They serve 'Tandoori Momo', 'Fried Schezwan Momo', 'Veg Fried Momo' and 'Prawn Momo'. To top it all off, they even have a 'Tandoori Momo Burger'(Moburg), which is a must-try. The ‘Pan Fried Chicken and Cheese in Schezwan sauce’ is highly recommended. They also have a ‘Corn and Cheese’ variant if you are looking for a veggie option. Try the steaming hot, large bowl of 'Chicken Thukpa' if you are feeling like eating something hearty.
They have a good variety of momos which can be a nice change for your palate. However, they are not so exceptional that you keep going back for more. You can try once
This is a small kitchen restaurant located in EAT- the food lounge on top level of DLF Mall of India. There are table seating of the food court, while it also caters for home delivery through food ordering apps and take-away. While on my visit to the mall, I decided to get a first taste of this WOW MOMO since it has been trending in culinary circles. I ordered food for take away. One of the main course specialty items is Chicken Momo Sizzler served with sizzling hot Hakka noodle or fried rice with six pieces of momos in schezwan sauce. My son is particularly fond of momos, but he didn't like it as much as the name. The momos are just about okay, nothing to so wow about them. They have varieties of momos- steamed. pan fried, tandoori etc. The prices are in the range of Rs 180-270 which are obviously on the higher side. The billing and payment counter on left accepts payments by wallets like PayTm and Mobikwik, as well as regular cards and cash. The kitchen was clean and cooks had aprons and gloves. The restaurant has well displayed its menu/meals/snacks options on the front (delivery/billing) counter and on side and inside walls, Overall, a so-so place which can not beat the taste of street side momo.
Wow! Momo has been trending for a while now and my craving for momos got me here! They serve regular momos, no Big Bang about it. Infact, the street vendors have a better hand at momos.
The steamed veg momos are stuffed with fried/masala vegetable version that you can eat with chapati ... Veg Momos are not supposed to be stuffed with that kind of filling..... It can be sold as some kind of fancy name but definetly not as just VEG MOMOS which is deceving.
First time in my life I had veg tandoori momos at this place. It was very good in taste. It is a small chinese restau.rant where one can get good cinese food at low cost. Better than roadside momos
