The story of this coffee shop has passed into hotel industry legend. Asked to renovate the Ambassador and given hardly any money by the Taj management, the then General Manager, Abhijit Mukherji, threw out hotel concepts of design and sat down and planned this quirky coffee shop with a little help from his wife. It looks slightly tired now but is still a quiet change from the bustle of the Khan Market places. And the food's still good.
