Zanotta is the modern Italian fine-dining restaurant at the Leela Ambience. This restaurant, with cool marble flooring and large bay windows, offers a bird’s-eye view of the traffic and lights below and is an elegant dining destination. The wine library flanks the restaurant and the open kitchen has seating for four diners. The wine list comprises 1500 wines from all over the world, including Italian, French, Chilean and Australian. The menu is innovative featuring dishes like the grilled prawns with black risotto and mascarpone. The food remains authentic Italian but Zanotta has embarked on a new culinary philosophy and is doing away with the fussiness that was associated with the restaurant in the past.
I booked through easy diner ans invited some guest. easy diner sent in a confirmation and last minute called me and said the reservation is cancelled. I don't know where the gap was between Leela and easy diner but i certainly am not using easy diner again or going to Zanotta. the easy diner customer care was least helpful and were trying to coverup with random reasons..
My husband & I enjoyed a pleasant Sunday afternoon 7 course set menu experience at Zannota.
Each course was prepared fresh to order with excellent visual appeal.
I particularly enjoyed the Sea food Broth- very flavorful. The Black Cod & Sea Bass pan seared was world class in quality & preparation.
Our experience was made even more pleasurable thankfully due the staff enthusiasm & Chef Arvind's willingness to cater to our tastes.
Critique- the Pizza seemed to be added as an after thought. Needs to be worked on.
Overall good food at great value.
It was family day on Sunday and we choose to be at Zannota. Must say the eazy diner deal was one reason and the ambience in display photos was another. Having said so I was concerned about the limitations as it said Set Menu plus my mother is vegetarian and little less experimenting with food.
But we were in for a lovely surprise.
The greet and welcome - - - - - - good
The service - - - - - - - - perfect
The seating and ambience - - - - - romantic
The icing is extremely well laid out set menu, it is seven course, all requests prepared fresh on the live kitchen and spaced out service that neither rushes you on food and at the same time gives you quality time to talk sit back and enjoy the beverages.
If I don't mention that all food irrespective from what you choose is amazing and the vegetarians can be easily be at home.
The only disadvantage is that the eazy dinner works on the soft beverage package and the moment you take the one with wine they split the bill into food and beverage and the discount only happens at Food.
But that won't even be on your mind when you leave the table after an afternoon well spent.
Go ahead if quality food, ambience and a lazy Sunday is on your mind.
Went for dinner over the weekend to Zanotta which was a great experience! The food was delicious Italian and we loved every bit of our meal! The pasta was fresh and cooked really well. The chicken scaloppini with the marsala sauce and mashed potatoes tasted divine! The ambience was contemporary and modernistic. We also thoroughly enjoyed the dessert platter, each element was perfect! Kudos to Zanotta!
Zanotta is one of the best fine dining restaurants in the city. They serve the best authentic Italian food prepared by a chef from Italy itself. He prepares it so well that one would forget the other Italian restaurants as well. We called for the Black Truffle Risotto, classic spaghetti in marinara sauce, Potato Gnocchi in Gorgonzolla sauce and Veal in Tuna sauce. The food is so divine and amazing. The texture of the sauces are creamy and worth it all. Not to forget the dessert, the rum infused Tiramisu and Limoncello are a must try.
For people who take their wines and Italian food very seriously will fall in love with ‘Zanotta’ at first bite. One bite and a peek at their wine library is enough to make you forget every other Italian restaurant for miles. A shiny glass wine library flanks the restaurant like a prized possession storing little over 1500 bottles of wines from around the globe. Uncork the fine Chilean, Australian, Italian and French bottles with Zanotta’s trendy menu. The Italian Masterchef Rubio rules the kitchen handing out the delightful platters of rich contemporary Italian food. The efficient serves picks up and carry the plates of steaming pastas and risottos to their hungry destinations. Housed at Leela Ambience, Gurgaon, Zanotta is coolly elegant and chic. The large bay windows gives the patrons bird’s eye view of the city below. Zanotta is trendy and popular with the local foodies and Italian community.
Zanotta has established its name in the culinary sector for unconventional Italian cuisine. Chef Rubio surpasses his reputation for cooking contemporary but delicious Italian recipes in his kitchen. Amidst the traditional Italian restaurants in the city, Zanotta is a breath of fresh air. The menu commence with eggplant wrapped mixed vegetables, mixed lettuce salad with beetroot carpaccio, Scottish salmon and tuna tartar, homemade burrata with grilled focassia, semolina fried calamari and prawns, atlantic scallops with grilled zucchini salsa, seafood saffron broth and crispy fried vegetables served with spicy arrabiata sauce. First course consists of crab ravioli with prawns, French duck panzerotti with truffle duck sauce, whole wheat pasta with vegetables, lasagne alla Bolognese, fusilli with tuna, black olives, capers and tomato relish, coppa ham with arugula pizza, wild mushrooms risotto, fettuccini with crab meat cooked in tomato basil sauce, lasagna di verdure and goat’s cheese and mushroom pizza.
After the delectable first course the mains await your attention. Gnocchi with white wine infused truffle sauce, grilled cochin prawns with herbs lemon dressing, T-bone steak with sautéed mushrooms garlic, veal cutlet served with salad and mashed potatoes, ossobuco clasico, sicillian style tuna fillet with tomato confit, grilled polenta with goat cheese sauce and tomato relish and Chilean sea bass in cherry tomato, white wine and basil broth. The recipes are modern but rustic at heart. The final course pleases you with tiramisu, panna cotta with berry compote and baked ricotta cheesecake. Besides the wine house stocks a lot of other labels too. Expensive but satisfying Zanotta will mesmerize you.
