Embark on a gastronomic journey through India. The culinary team at Ananta presents the richness of Indian cuisine through well-researched recipes and authentic ingredients. Ananta has been awarded “Best Indian Restaurant – Fine Dining” in the Middle East.Adorned in rich red tones, chic upholstery and royal décor, Ananta is an authentic North Indian restaurant at The Oberoi Hotel. The place brings to life age-old traditions through its food and cooking techniques used. The coal-fired clay ovens give out an un-matchable aroma to the dishes here. One of the crowd-pleasing appetizer is the delicate Galouti Kabab. The minced lamb in it is perfectly flavoured with aromatic spices cooked on the ‘Mahi’ tawa and is served with some saffron flavoured Bakarkhani, which is a flatbread that originated in Dhaka. Diners who are not too conscious about their waistline must try the Pista Qorma Gosht. The succulent Indian lamb is stuffed with green herbs and finished with a subtle Peshawari pistachio flavoured gravy. The ‘Lamb Momos in Kashmiri Morel and Fennel Sauce’ is an interesting Indian dish and the appetizers from the ‘Post-Modern Era’ have some healthy snacks to gorge on. The staff is tidily dressed and quite pleasing in their demeanour.
