6 Best Restaurants To Visit This Valentine's Day In Mumbai

13 Feb, 2018 by Roxanne Bamboat

Grand Hyatt, Mumbai

The hotel is buzzing with Valentine's Day activities and their Gourmet Store is packed with gifts and hampers to suit the occasion. China Lounge has a special pre-Valentine's Day night where the entry for ladies is complementary and includes 3 drinks on the 10th of February. The restaurants are full of special menus with each eatery trying to outdo the other. If you are looking for an exclusively romantic experience at dinner then, the four-course Italian dinner at Celini by Chef Alessandro Persico is perfect.

This Italian restaurant has a beautiful couples workshop where they teach you how to make 4-5 different types of hand-rolled pasta, followed by a small wine tasting along with an additional wine spritzer. You end the class enjoying one of the pasta you have cooked in a sauce of your choice and this makes it a fun activity along with your meal. This is not restricted to couples but works for whoever your Valentine is this year. This will be held on the 11th of February to kick off the Valentine week!

JW Marriott, Juhu

Every eatery at the hotel is all set to celebrate Valentine's Day in their own way. Each restaurant has specially curated menus embracing the theme but the one we think might be the best is at Saffron the Indian restaurant where Chef Shahnawaz Qureshi has created a special romantic Nawabi meal. The food here is all robust Awadhi cuisine and is a welcome change from the usual pasta and risotto fare that is usually thought of as a romantic meal out.

For an elegant meal this Valentine's Day, stop by BKC's favourite Chinese restaurant for a glass of free wine and dine from a special menu that features dishes like Spicy Wild Prawn Curry, Roast Duck Udon Noodles, and the classic Truffle Edamame Dumpling. If one glass of wine isn't enough to enjoy the evening, you can opt from their list of cocktails, some specially created for Valentine's Day.

Olive Bar & Kitchen

This will always remain as one of Mumbai's most romantic restaurants with its Mediterranean vibe and delectable food. It's a hot spot every Valentine's Day and this year Chef Rishim Sachdeva has a special five-course menu for everyone celebrating. From Roast Lamb Rump, Reef Cod to Winter Butternut Squash Risotto with Burrata. It's an exquisite menu with some specially made cocktails to ensure you have a great night.

Hello Guppy

If a trip to Japan is not possible this Valentine's Day, then hop over to Hello Guppy for a five-course Japanese meal instead. This quirky vibrant restaurant has a special menu featuring dishes from the land of the rising sun and of course, plenty of sushi. The meal includes 2 glasses of sparkling wine and is a great way to enjoy Valentine's Day.
