Dine under unique Chinese lanterns by Nachiket Barve at Yauatcha
To celebrate Chinese New Year, Yauatcha has collaborated with renowned fashion and costume designer 'Nachiket Barve' who has designed customised paper-cut lanterns that will light up the entire space while the culinary team at Yauatcha has created a special a la carte menu. The special menu for this festival has been expertly crafted to offer dishes that are traditionally eaten during Chinese New Year along with some brand new Yauatcha creations. The Olive Dumpling is a first for the restaurant and promises to become a favourite with both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, while the Spicy Chicken Dumpling With Red Beetroot Skin is symbolic of good luck, prosperity and joy. The Golden Fortune Prawn In Lime Sauce represents good luck as seafood is considered lucky in China; while the Shredded Pork Loin In Hoisin Sauce With Mantou brings together delicious flavours that have never been seen before on the Yauatcha menu. Sample the delectable Black Truffle And Asparagus Fried Rice for a taste that is truly inspired or try the Pan Fried Noodles with vegetables in black bean sauce. In a nod to the beautiful lanterns, indulge in the Haoyun Lantern Petit Gâteau dessert with soy caramel and mandarin because eating citrus is believed to bring luck whilst ‘haoyun’ translates as ‘lucky’.

Celebrate the ‘Year of the Dog’ with a special menu curated by 'Chef Paul Kinny' that will transport you to the streets of China.
The menu features plenty of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Start the meal with appetizers such as Prawn & Mushroom Dim sum, Mariachi Roll with tuna ceviche, Japanese mayo, jalapeños, and avocados. There are also warm comforting soups like Shrimp & Bean Curd with Rich broth, edamame, scallions and Sweetcorn & Asparagus Broth. Follow that up with a Wok Tossed Oyster Mushrooms; snow peas & baby carrot in burnt chilli sauce or the most famous chicken dish to come out from China, General Tao’s Chicken – succulent morsels of chicken tossed in Chinese trinity sauce. Pair these up with Lo Mein Noodles; whole wheat noodle tossed in Chinese trinity sauce and the critically acclaimed Pineapple & Garlic Fried Rice; golden jewelled rice, chunks of juicy pineapple, water chestnut & cashews.
